Hodo Ahmed: 2017

Wile playing outside today, Hodo asked me to fill the watering can for her as soon as I did, she ran toward the small lemon tree and she start to water it, I start to talk to Hodo how water helps the plants to grow and I encouraged her to water the rest of the plants on the other side.

Review of learning:

Responsibility – from caring for plants
Understanding – as she learn about cause and effect (for example, plants die without water, weeds compete with plants)
Self-confidence
Love of nature – a chance to learn about the outdoor environment in a safe and pleasant place
Reasoning and discovery – learning about the science of plants.
Physical activity – doing something fun and productive.

What to next:

Hodo it was amazing seeing you looking after the plants and the environment in general, maybe next time you can do more activities around the garden.

Hodo, this morning while we were inside,you came and sat down next to me ,looking happy and curious to the small buckets in front of us .I asked her "would you like to play a game with me Hodo"?, "yes teacher please",she replied .I placed a small toy fish under one of four cups and shuffled the cups around, then I changed the order of the cups and Hodo was watching me ,After that I asked you to guess which cups hold the fish . You kept thinking ,focusing and tried very hard to remember which bucket holds the fish ,After much of concentration you picked up one of the buckets and it's a surprise, the fish was under that cup. mashaallah Hodo from the first time you got the fish " you are clever girl "

Guessig Game

Hodo ,this morning while we were inside ,you came and sat down on the table next to me,looking happy and curious to the small buckets in front of us .I asked her" would you like to play a game with me Hodo "?, yes teacher please", she replied. I placed a small toy fish under one of four cups and shuffled the cups around ,then I changed the order of the cups and Hodo was watching me ,After that I asked you to guess which cup holds the fish .You kept thinking ,focusing and tried very hard to remember which bucket holds the fish ,After much of concentration you picked up one of the buckets and it's a surprise; the fish was under that cup.
Mashaallah Hodo from the first time ,you got the fish " you are clever girl ",I said to her ."yes I win", she said with a big smile.
Review of learning :through this experience I noticed that you were excited and showed engagement in this game . I could see how proud and happy you were with yourself. You were so confident and I think this will improve your confidence and your concentration.
What is next : I will encourage you to be more confident and involved learner, perhaps next time you can lead the game.
